New programs launch to inspire and empower students

By matching students’ aspirations with faculty expertise, the College of Arts and Science is launching innovative programs for students to delve into their curiosities and achieve post-graduation goals.

Architecture 4+1 accelerated degree

Students with an eye for design can earn a master’s degree in architecture in only five years at Mizzou through the department of architectural studies. The master of architecture is the terminal degree in architecture, training students for careers in academia or the private sector.

Internships will prepare students to earn their professional licensure, a step in their professional growth that requires a combination of education, experience, and examination.

*The Architectural Studies program is pursuing full accreditation from the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). This spring, the program will become the first public institution in Missouri with an accredited degree in architecture.
