Here are some important things you should consider before withdrawing from a course or term.

Course withdrawal

• Consider how withdrawing may impact your financial aid and the time it takes to complete your degree. 
• If you could complete the course with the required minimum grade, consider staying in it! Talk to your instructor and academic advisor about the best option for you. 
• The Learning Center has some great resources online to help you prepare for finals. 
• If you decide to withdraw from one or more courses (but not all courses), you will do this in myZou.

Term withdrawal

• If you decide to withdraw from the term you will need to switch to term withdrawal. To begin the process, visit the University Registrar to log in.
