Professor Miriam Barquero-Molina was awarded the 2020 William T. Kemper Fellowship for Teaching Excellence. Established in 1991, the fellowship, which includes a $10,000 stipend, is awarded to five outstanding teachers at the University of Missouri each year. In the award, Miriam is recognized for her innovative approach to teaching that extends beyond the traditional bounds of the classroom—both literally and figuratively.
