Our Mid-Career Writing Program, supported by gift funds supportive of faculty, is designed for post-tenured or post-promotion faculty who need to find time to complete a writing project – article, book, chapter, proposal, or major grant application, and who would benefit from joining a group that aims to help participants develop better writing habits.
This program provides funding for one course so scholars can utilize the time to complete a project that would bring them closer to applying for full professor.
The program consists of structured sessions throughout the semester where the cohort will set goals, write together, and will receive peer feedback. There will also be workshops to encourage progress on projects. The program is co-sponsored by the Campus Writing Program at the Conley House.
