The Arts & Science Writing Fellows, a multidisciplinary cohort program, meets weekly in the Conley House to help faculty navigate the challenges and tensions accompanying the production of manuscripts by providing a community to incubate, nurture, and stimulate ideas.
Activities
small and large group accountability for faculty writing goals
consistent peer feedback on ideas and drafts
opportunities for small and large group presentations to workshop and refine ideas
Time commitment
In exchange for a course release, members are expected to attend weekly meetings (2 hours) at the Conley House.
About the program
The A&S Writing Fellows Program will buy out one course so that scholars can utilize the time to complete a high-merit project.
Successful candidates will participate in weekly sessions throughout the semester where the cohort of five faculty per semester will set writing goals, evaluate progress, and receive peer feedback.
The program enjoys support from the Campus Writing Program at the Conley House.
