The Research Fellowship Program, supported by donor funds from the college of A&S, provides time for researchers to commit to completing high value research projects, such as grant proposals, book proposals, high impact articles, field work, or performances. Fellows will be granted a one-course teaching reduction that can be taken as a 2/1 or 3/0 load.
Eligibility
Tenured and tenure-track faculty in A&S departments where the standard teaching load is 2/2 or higher, at any rank may apply. Applicants must be nominated by their department chair. Each department may nominate no more than two faculty.
Application materials

A brief (maximum 300 words) description of the work to be accomplished during the research time
focused on outcomes. Consideration will be given to projects that rank as high value according to the
individual’s departments promotion and tenure guidelines.

A CV which highlights recent productivity in the field.
