Wickens is a principal in the law firm Foland, Wickens, Eisfelder, Roper and Hofer, P.C. He is a civil trial lawyer, having tried approximately 100 jury cases to verdict. He has been very active during his legal career in organized bar association work, serving as the current Kansas City delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates. Wickens also has served as board member and president of the following legal organizations: Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section, Western Missouri Defense Lawyers Association, American Board of Trial Advocates—Missouri Chapter, and Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. In 2001, Wickens received the prestigious Ben Ely Award as Missouri’s outstanding defense lawyer. He serves the University of Missouri on the Missouri 100 advisory group to President Tim Wolfe. He also continues to serve on the Sigma Nu-Rho Chapter House Corporation Board in Columbia. Wickens has been recognized by a number of national and regional peer review groups including Best Lawyers in America and Best of the Bar.
