In celebration of the 101st anniversary of the founding of Negro Leagues Baseball, Bob Kendrick, president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, will share stories, discuss legends, and explore the history of the Negro Leagues, an inextricable part of America’s history. As Kendrick shares in his Black Diamonds podcast, the Negro Leagues “were entertainers and icons. They were the shining stars hidden in darkness, in a league where the thunder in their bats made them unforgettable.” The event is online and free. Registration is required.
