Whether it’s semester at a university abroad, a faculty-led summer program, an international field camp, or an internship outside of the US, study abroad is a transformative experience. To make these experiences more accessible, the College of Arts and Science offers need-based funding for these and other credited global experiences as part of our commitment to preparing A&S students for the larger world in which we live and work.
A&S Global Experience Scholarships are available to all undergraduate students pursuing an A&S degree and who are applying for MU-approved programs abroad.
Award amounts reflect available scholarship funds, program cost, number of credit hours, and financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. Typical awards range from $2500 to $6500.

- Are you an A&S undergraduate (do you have a declared A&S major)?
- Are you applying for an MU-sponsored program abroad?
- Do you have financial need as verified by the Office of Financial Aid?

If the answer to all these questions is “yes,” then you are eligible!
