Four Mizzou College of Arts and Science students will travel to Jefferson City to participate in the University of Missouri System's Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol.

Four College of Arts and Science students were among the ten talented Tigers who represented the University of Missouri at the 2025 University of Missouri System Undergraduate Research Day. This annual event allows students to share innovative research projects with state legislators at the Missouri Capitol in Jefferson City. The research spans a breadth of topics.
This year's A&S participants were:
- Ahmed Ebada, senior, Columbia, Missouri
- Major: Biological sciences
- Project: “Regulation of Egg Quality and DNA Repair by the Cytoskeleton”
- Nora Pryor, junior, Lake Saint Louis, Missouri
- Major: Chemistry
- Project: “Development of Theranostic Radiopharmaceuticals Using Tc-99m and Re-186 to Diagnose and Treat Cancer”
- Izaiah Vasseur, senior, O’Fallon, Missouri
- Major: Mathematics
- Project: “Machine Learning in Automated Oxygen Delivery to Neonate Babies”
- Chloe Velcheck, senior, O’Fallon, Missouri
- Major: Biological sciences
- Project: “Improving Veteran Well-being: How Sleep Therapy Could Reduce PTSD Symptoms in Veterans with Alcohol Use Disorder”
