Doug Steinley, Psychological Sciences professor, was elected as a fellow in the American Psychological Associations (Division 5) for Quantitative and Qualitative Methods, which promotes high standards in “both research and practical application of program evaluation, measurement, statistics, assessment, and qualitative methods,” the APA website states. This division of the APA promotes high standards in research and practical application of measurement, statistics, assessment, and qualitative methods.  

Steinley has been given fellow status for outstanding contributions and performance in the field of psychology. His work has had a national impact in the field of psychology, with research focused on multivariate statistical methodology, with a primary interest in cluster analysis and social network analysis.
