Daive Dunkley, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Black Studies, urges the world to listen to the Haitian people as the country recovers from a devastating earthquake and a presidential assassination.

Professor Dunkley, who is also the director of Peace Studies suggests organizations need to work with the government to help with Haiti’s recovery. The people of Haiti, on the other hand, have always understood what it takes to recover and overcome devastations, such as earthquakes.
