Lonnie Hofmann’s paper, “The Effect of Three Strikes Laws on Violent Crime Rates”, has won the Missouri Valley Economics Association award for Best Graduate Student Paper.  Lonnie joins past Mizzou winners like Taehwan Kim (PhD 2018).  Lonnie will complete his doctorate this spring and start work as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City this July.  Congratulations!
