Curators’ Distinguished Professor of Chemistry Arthur G. Suits has been recognized with the 2022 Earle K. Plyler Prize for Molecular Spectroscopy & Dynamics. The honor, awarded annually by the American Physical Society, recognizes notable contributions to the field of molecular spectroscopy and dynamics.
As the recipient, Suits will have the opportunity to contribute a perspective article to The Journal of Chemical Physics. Suits' work focuses on the use of lasers and molecular beams to study fundamental atomic and molecular interactions and in the development of new tools with which to pursue these investigations.
