There are several ways to insert images onto your pages. The method you use will differ with the type of page you are editing.
No matter what method you use to insert images to your page, you will always need to upload the file using the IMAGE field provided. Each time you upload an image or file, you will get another browse button below it in order to upload an additional image or file. This will happen until you reach the image/file limit for the page. Most pages have no limit for number of images/files uploaded, so you will be able to upload as many as you need (Figure 9).
IMPORTANT: If you upload documents or images, you MUST include a description for a document or an alt tag and title for an image. The alt tag and title can be the same text, but BOTH must be included. This is mandated by federal law ADA compliance standards. Failure to include ADA information will be subjecting your department and the university to lawsuits, and can result in loss of editing privileges (Figure 10). Appropriate alt tags CAN be the same as the title, or you can add a more robust description of the image.
How to insert an image into your body text
To insert an image or document into the body of your page, place your cursor where you would like the item to show up on the page and then click the insert button. If you are inserting a document, the text you put in the description field will be the text that appears on the link. You can change the link text in the body of the page without breaking the link itself.
If you are inserting an image, the image will show up on the left side of the page. By default, the text will not wrap around the image automatically. You can change the image settings and location by clicking on the image editing icon on your editing toolbar (Figure 11).
