A&S Student Council
The College of Arts & Science constantly strives to connect A&S students with faculty and staff. Our main mission is to provide resources and representation for students belonging to MU’s College of Arts and Science. This is accomplished primarily by coordinating both social and educational programming, allocating scholarships, awards and grants and regularly articulating student concerns to University administration.
Students have the ability to voice their opinions, suggestions and needs through the Arts & Science Student Council: an on-campus organization consisting of roughly 30 passionate, bright-minded individuals working to promote the academic success within our student body and beyond. Arts & Science Student Council was created by students to increase familiarity and communication between students, faculty and staff. Student Council’s campus and community involvement ranges from Homecoming traditions to service and philanthropy. Arts & Science Student Council is the governing student body of the largest college at the University of Missouri with over 9,000 undergraduate members. Passionate and hard-working individuals are strongly encouraged to apply!
Arts & Science Student Council hosts bi-weekly member meetings. Please contact an executive board officer for more information. To stay updated on Student Council’s upcoming events get connected with us on Facebook and Instagram!
Interested in joining A&S StuCo? Looking for a great opportunity for student involvement and leadership development? Applications for Arts & Science Student Council membership will open each fall semester. Applications will be assessed by the council and an interview process will follow. All Arts & Science majors and minors are encouraged to apply.
