Paul W. and Gertrude Mathews Scholarship in Music Education

Scholarship Category:
Undergraduate scholarship, Graduate scholarship

Scholarships for junior, senior, or graduate students in music education who possess outstanding teaching potential. After graduation the recipient shall teach music in a public or private school or college for at least two years. Each recipient must agree that if she or he does not actually teach for as long as two years during the 10-year period after graduation the scholarship funds received will be returned to the fund. In the event a scholarship is awarded to a graduate student, this two-year teaching requirement would be fulfilled if the recipient had already taught music for two years.
