Undergraduate scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will be a Missouri resident in the high need category for financial aid. The combined federal adjusted gross income of the student and the student's family, as required to be reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), must be less than or equal to $40,000 per year and the student must have financial need as defined by federal financial aid regulations. One or more annual awards shall be made to undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Science, with preference given to students majoring in English.

Preference shall be given to incoming freshman and/or transfer students who have earned an AA degree prior to enrolling at MU. The award is renewable for up to four (4) years for incoming freshmen and up to two (2) years for transfer students if the recipient continues to meet the criteria and is academically eligible to receive financial assistance.
