Office of Research and Creative Activities

Getting Started

Please email the grants office ( as soon as possible about your plan to submit a proposal, including the solicitation/request for applications (RFA) link and the due date. A member of the pre-award team will be assigned your proposal and will be in contact regarding proposal timeline and requirements. You may schedule a meeting with your team member to discuss proposal submission at any time.

  • Note that it’s easier to move your target deadline than it is to fit a proposal in at the last minute
  • Your team member will determine which internal forms/paperwork need to be filled out, and will send these to you as required
  • All grant components should be sent to the grants office 2 weeks in advance of the proposal due date/deadline to receive a full review as the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (OSPA) requires all proposal materials 5-business days in advance of the sponsor due date
