An international conference, “Domitian’s Rome and the Augustan Legacy,” will be held Friday, September 1 and Saturday, September 2 in Swallow Hall 101 at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Diane Atnally Conlin, author of The Artists of the Ara Pacis: The Process of Hellenization in Roman Relief Sculpture and professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder, will be the keynote speaker.

The conference is sponsored by the Chancellor’s Distinguished Visitors’ Program, the Blake-More Godwin Lecture Fund, and the Department of Ancient Mediterranean Studies. All lectures are free and open to the public.
