Prof. Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor, Princeton University, Department of African American Studies, presents "#BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation," Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in Ellis Library, Room 114A

Prof. Taylor is the author of From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation (Haymarket Books, 2016), which examines the development of the social movement in response to police violence in the United States. Taylor is working on another book, Race for Profit: Black Housing and the Urban Crisis of the 1970s.

The event is free and open to the public.  It is co-sponsored by the Peace Studies Program, Friends of Peace Studies, and the Department of Black Studies, Black History Month.
