Linda Godwin, MU professor of physics and astronomy, will discuss her experiences as a NASA astronaut on four space shuttle missions, beginning with deploying the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory on her first mission, the thrill of visiting the Russian Mir Space Station and the International Space Station on later missions, and what it is like to live and work in space. She'll also share some of the latest news on the human space flight program and what is planned for the future.
