Research
Research in the College of Arts and Science covers a broad spectrum of investigation, creativity and scholarly activity. It includes research in the biological, physical, and mathematical sciences, as well as research and creative contributions in the social sciences, humanities, and cultural and performing arts. In Fiscal Year 2009, Arts and Science faculty were awarded $22.5 million in external research funding.
The Arts and Sciences Grants Office is the coordinating office for pre- and post-award-related activities within the college. The primary function is that of service to departments and faculty members.
