Students bestow and receive awards at this annual celebration. Winners of scholarships from the College of Arts and Science and its individual units are announced, and Chalk Award winners — chosen by students — are recognized.
Each year, members of the A&S Student Council acknowledge the teaching excellence of select faculty members through Purple Chalk Awards; pay tribute to advisers through Blue Chalk Awards; and honor teaching assistants through Green Chalk Awards.
