Give for Programs
A great university cannot exist without great programs in the arts and sciences. Since the University of Missouri’s founding, the College of Arts and Science has provided the foundation of a general education for all undergraduate students — whatever their major area of study.
We are proud of the many programs that offer students unparalleled opportunities and bring added prestige to the University through their achievements.
- A literary-theater program called Mizzou on Broadway gives MU theater students an advantage no other school offers. Through an affiliation with the York Theatre in New York, the department produces its students’ top original plays in the theater capital of the world.
- The unique Center for the Literary Arts enhances Mizzou’s first-rate Creative Writing Program in English and links with top writing programs in theatre, journalism and the University’s model writing-across- the-curriculum program. No other university in the nation offers students such a distinguished collection of writing expertise through star faculty and visiting authors.
- Camp Branson, the Department of Geological Sciences’ summer field camp in Lander, Wyo., is hailed as the oldest and one of the finest field camps in the nation. Students from Mizzou and other universities who attend the camp experience geology at a one-of-a-kind training ground.
